I've been pretty fond of Tanukis ever since watching Studio Ghibli's Pom Poko. Here's what was meant to be a quick drawing of one, but turned into a fairly long project!

I made another version of this years ago at uni, and decided that I liked the composition and such enough to re do it. See what you think!

Photoshop practice.

Following a few skillshare classes (and it being on my to do list for a while) I've finally got around to learning to use photoshop well enough to illustrate in it. Usually I use adobe Illustrator, but the amount of texturing I was putting vector software through was getting silly, so this was the logical step. Working with a new Huion graphics tablet hopefully lets me get a bit more character in the shapes and lines than Illustrator would allow. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.

Jim Croce

I've wanted to find the time to draw this for a little while. This is Jim Croce playing with Maury Muehleisen. They just seem to have this effortless connection onstage. I'd recommend checking out the live version of 'working at the car wash blues' on youtube, on which I based this illustration.

I've been trying out some new techniques in photoshop. A friend suggested this as a piece. I've never actually played a Zelda game though, so I hope I dont make any silly mistakes. Anyway, here's Zelda from Zelda.
