Negotiated project begins!

This is the first in a series of images (hopefully 10) responding to Spike Milligan's poetry. This one is in response to 'Sailor John' which can be found in his 1965 book, The little Pot-Boiler. Initially, i chose the poem because I wanted to find an excuse to do something pirate ship based, but I found myself preferring this route visually.
